This is when the ride gets good! This is a light day so you can get to Santa Fe and see the sights.
Roswell to Santa Fe: Shown above is the standard route via US-285. An alternate route of less traveled and more challenging backroads is 40 miles longer. We will provide this route before departure. See more of this route below.
Alternative Roswell to Santa Fe Route
Santa Fe: There are not too many places to stop between Roswell and Santa Fe, so be careful with your fuel, water, and food. Encino is one place and where US-285 crosses I-40, but you may want to get to Santa Fe as fast as possible as there is so much to do when you get there.
Santa Fe is filled with beautiful art galleries and shops. Santa Fe is also a great walking city and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Make sure you check out the Santa Fe Plaza.
For more information about Santa Fe click to the Santa Fe Visitors Information Site. For places to stay may we suggest the following. On the more luxurious side, try the Loretto Inn and Spa. On the more affordable side ( and very nice in its own right ) is the El Rey Inn.
