The Monster is the original, unique “naked” motorcycle and a very popular motorcycle rental for us.The Monster is a “street fighter” that offers outstanding sport bike performance together with a style that has often been imitated but never equalled. The Superbike derived trellis frame, powerful engine with fuel injection, plus braking and suspension systems that are all derived from Ducati's world class experience in the racing world.
The Ducati twin is a incredible feat of engineering. The result is a clean, compact combustion chamber that is also highly efficient: the flat-crown pistons provide a perfectly smooth combustion environment and linear flame front. The special design of the heads, together with the cutting-edge electronic engine control system, guarantees optimal combustion throughout the rev range and makes for smooth, potent power delivery.

- 803 cc L-twin cylinder, 2 valves per cylinder, dual-spark, air cooled Desmodromic engine.
- Aluminium alloy single-sided rear swingarm: rigid and lightweight, it contributes to the SR's confident road manners.
- Exhaust with twin stacked silencers: greater ground clearance lets you “lean-in” more in the corners.
- Aluminium variable cross-section handlebars*: strong, lightweight and aggressive.
- Marchesini lightweight 5 spoke wheels (Y-shaped spokes for the S4Rs): reduced unsprung weight and moment of inertia for better handling.
- A 120/70 ZR 17 tyre up front and a big 180/55 ZR 17 on the rear for superior road-holding.
- A chassis set up with increased ground clearance allows greater lean angles while cornering.
- Adjustable rear suspension push-rod: the rear end ride height can be modified independently of the pre-load, thus adapting the bike to individual riding styles and specific road conditions.
- Sports style upper fairing: aerodynamic protection for greater stability and less effort required on long, high-speed journeys.
