Day Ride to the Red River:
Only a short ride north of the metroplex, this ride is really three rides pieced together. If you have all day, then riding the entire portion is no problem; however, those with less time can split this ride into three sections - and this ride map is arranged in this way.
Wild West Tour!!!
NOW UPDATED WITH THE RETURN TRIP!
This self guided motorcycle tour takes your from Dallas to Las Vegas and back. On the way, it guides you through such sights as Santa Fe NM, The Grand Canyon, the Four Corners area, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Taos, and Durango CO. While this motorcycle vacation can be done in 9-11 days, we suggest taking a more leisurely pace of 14 days to make sure that you enjoy all the sights and not rush the trip. This guide is broken down into days ranging from 200 - 400 mile. You can do more riding in any one day, but we wanted to leave time to enjoy the sights.
Half Day Ride:
This is a short, half day ride that starts and ends at our location. We came up with it in response to out of town visitors that wanted to ride, but had limited time available and not enough to go all out touring. This route will take you on some good riding roads, and has some interesting things to see on the way...
Dallas to Austin via Llano:
This ride map to Austin is certainly the "long way down." But if you have the time, it is a great way to get there and also see some of the Texas Hill County and have a several day motorcycle vacation. This motorcycle tour takes you to Austin via Llano with stops in Granbury, Glen Rose, Stephenville, Burnet, and Marble Falls as well as stopping at Hamilton Pool and the Canyon of the Eagles. There are three great riding loops listed around Burnet. Have fun!!!
The Texas Tour:
Traveling 2700 miles across the country side, this 8-10 day trip takes you across all of the geographic regions and the major cities. We have selected some of the most famous and best motorcycle riding areas of Texas. Sites to see include Dallas and Fort Worth, the capital and rich night life in Austin, the Gulf Coast between Gaveston and Corpus Christi, and the RiverWalk area of San Antonio. There is also great motorcycling in between such as the Texas Hill country, the three sisters, and Big Bend. Along the way, you’ll ride through places that you’ve never heard of yet, but will be sure to leave an indeliable impression on you for long after.
Three Sisters:
From Dallas this trip takes you down directly into the Texas Hill Country, through Meridian, Hamilton, Marble Falls, Llano and Fredericksburg. After Fredericksburg and Kerrville, the ride is straight on into the Three Sisters ( also called the Twisted Sisters or 100 mile loop ). This ride is not for beginning riders and represents some of the most extreme riding in the Texas Hill Country. Riders area taken on many tight and decreasing radius corners alongside steep hills and sharp drop-offs, but the reward is an area that is scenic and great to ride.
